Card Reload Centres

Coinamatic has one of the most extensive smart card reload networks in North America. With our Debit/Credit Card Reload Centres and Cash to Card Reload Centres, loading smart cards couldn’t be easier! With our unique “load anywhere” technology, SmartCity^® cardholders can conveniently load their card at any of our locations – from Victoria to Halifax.

Interac-certified SmartCity Debit/Credit Card Reload Centres are typically located in common areas of the apartment building. They allow residents to load up to $50 of value onto a smart card using a debit or credit card. A simple display guides the user each step of the way.

SmartCity Cash to Card Reload Centres can be found in retail stores in areas surrounding apartment buildings. They accept $10 or $20 bills transferring that value to a SmartCity smart card.

In 2010, Canadian financial institutions are converting to EMV payment standards. Coinamatic’s reloading hardware infrastructure is both PCI and EMV compliant making it well positioned to accommodate all upcoming new technologies.
