Coinamatic's PinMate Add Value Station is a low-cost, user friendly solution for adding value to smart cards. Residents can easily add value to their smart card online using their home or work computer and a valid MasterCard or VISA credit card!
How does PinMate work?
PinMate allows you to register your card online on a trusted and secure website. You can purchase value for your card using a valid Visa or MasterCard. In return you will receive a six digit PIN code that you can use to add value to your card. You simply visit the PinMate Add Value Station in your building, insert your card, enter the six digit PIN code and the value is loaded to your card.

Proceed to the PinMate unit located in your building. Insert your card into the card slot. Your previous balance will be displayed.
When prompted, enter the PIN code generated from the web site followed by the # sign to add the purchased value to your card.
The value attached to any previous codes will be added to your new balance if there is room to do so. The maximum balance the card can hold is $50, so you may have to wait to use a PIN code until there is room to add the value on your card. For example: if your card balance is $33 and you purchased an additional $20, you will not be able to use your PIN Code for the $20 until your card balance is under $30 as the card can only hold $50. It will not allow the load until there is room for it.
Once you enter a PIN code at the PinMate Add Value Station, you cannot cancel the transaction.
Transactions cannot be cancelled or refunded if a credit card payment has been accepted and a PIN code generated using the web site.
Cancel the transaction by using the * key. The unit will eject the card after a 5 minute timeout delay.
Visit www.coinamatic.com and select PinMate under Resident links.
On login screen you can request a password change. The password change will be emailed to your email account. If you continue to have issues, please call 1-800-561-1972 and a Customer Service Representative will be pleased to assist you.

When you purchase your PIN Code online, you will be able to print the receipt if you have a printer available at the computer you are using. The receipt will not be available after you exit the website.
You can retain your user profile on line after you have moved.
When you receive your new smart card at your new location, please register your new card online with current profile.
If refund is required for your old card, please call Coinamatic at 1-800-561-1972. A $4.00 processing fee will be applied.
Unfortunately Coinamatic does not cover lost or stolen cards. Please see your building manager for a card replacement.

Your PIN codes are available to view in your online profile. Or you can call 1-800-561-1972. If you provide the correct answer to you security question, we can provide your last PIN code.
You will need to register individual profiles for each smart card..
Unfortunately we can not cancel a reload code. You will need to use the pin code assigned.
When you are setting up your profile, please ensure you are not entering SN before the smart card serial number. Dashes are required if they appear in the serial number.
