Who are we?
Venda Wash is Atlantic Canada's largest route operator of coin/card laundry equipment. We brought laundry vending to Atlantic Canada over 23 years ago and remain a leader in the industry.We have a diverse portfolio of customers including both large and small private and public sector landlords. We currently provide laundry facilities for over 25,000 Atlantic Canadians.
Our Company operates a coin/card laundry vending business for apartment buildings, government complexes, institutions and co-operatives. The Company owns the laundry equipment installed in these residential complexes, performs all maintenance operations and collects the revenue. From this revenue, the Company pays the respective owners or managers of these buildings a liberal percentage of the gross revenue.
In addition, the Company is also the sole distributor for Whirlpool coin/card commercial laundry equipment for Atlantic Canada. In addition, we supply Frigidaire and LG refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers and other major appliances for multi-unit residential buildings. The Company also has a service department with seven technicians and repairs major appliances for its customer base. It also is the authorized service representative for warranty repair work for Frigidaire products for a number of major retailers in Halifax.
Our management
With fifty years' experience in the laundry vending industry, the Venda Wash management team has the expertise, resources and commitment to provide a first class laundry service for its customers. Members of the Morris family and the General Manager, Dean Pike, own and manage the Company.
Mr. I.B. Morris has been in the laundry vending route business since the 1960’s. He is responsible for overseeing the entire operations and direction of the business.
The Company’s local General Manager and Vice-President, Dean Pike, handles the supervision and daily operations of the business.
Jeff Morris, B.A. LL.B. has worked in the family business since the 1970’s and has had a management role in the Halifax operation since its inception. Jeff Morris is also a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society and formerly practiced corporate law with a major local law firm in Nova Scotia.
